Vairochana is the head of the Buddha family.
He is placed in the centre of the mandala of the Five Supreme Healers. As the principal Buddha, He is the incarnation of inner and world peace, while the other four Dhyani Buddhas represent various aspects of this pure state.
He is white in colour and symbolizes completeness.
Vairochana heals ignorance and closed-mindedness, and grants mental spaciousness.
He is represented with the mudra of spreading the Dharma.
